i love the cover, the text looks brilliant with the illustrations.how do you go about illustrating other people's work? do you ask the publisher or do they ask you?

K, thanks. My very lovely designer Ness Wood is responsible for the type. Generally the publisher asks me, though I have worked on collaborative projects where an author and I proposed an idea together (it was an unusual situation in several ways however).
I love your work, and just wanted to let you know that I noticed 'Addis Berner Bear Forgets' is 'Children's Book of the Week' in today's Times 'Culture' section (20 Jan). I'm a children's librarian and have ordered it for the library. :-)
