Beaky







Andrew Graham-Dixon's Art of Germany was on tv and I doodled demons...

It's available on iplayer now, if you're in the UK. Funny to see him wandering round the Alte Pinakotek in Munich. I've done some wandering there. Thought he took the whole notion of German renaissance art as alien to the rest of Europe a bit far, but he was fascinating and enthusiastic as usual. And he was certainly right about renaissance limewood sculpture being amazing. I've got a picture I took of one somewhere... Oh yeah, here:



Don't know if it is by Tilman Riemenschneider, but I do know that I like the nose.

Hello from the snow;
I watched the 'depressing' video; I enjoyed it; but I have a question; if the doubling time for regular growth is 70/the growth rate, then a 70% annual growth doubles in a year - that is 70% growth per year = 100% growth per year; something is missing in this equation ...
