I'll be playing some music with Yo Zushi at the Fleapit on Columbia Rd, East London, this evening around eight o-clock... I know it's short notice, but I only know when Yo tells me!

Venturing

I visited the place where my TV show might be made today, and met some of the (quite ridiculously good) people who might make it with me.

Most of the pictures I'm making at the moment are either a bit ropey, or secret, or both. Here is the beginning of a silly little frankenstein sort of strip I started about four years ago and just found while searching through some old character sketches.





Otherwise I have been researching in the Westminster library (they have a six volume collection of Rembrandt drawings there, and the sun shines in on the study desks), and teaching myself how to temper and cut Quill pens.

In the last few days a stupid thing happened (the result of the London Mayoral election) but I swear it wasn't my fault. Also a lot of lovely things like at least two picnics, some kind of dancing, and somebody up a Magnolia tree.

I'm away working on a new Dexter Bexley story...
