I worn my Elbows down for you

This book is an unending task, my arthritic foot hurts and makes my hip hurt and makes me worry about all my other joints to a fool extent, my grandfather is back in hospital, the humidity is forceful and I'm in a mood.

I've been seeking cheer where the following things are: Spiers and Boden (when they DON'T sing), my fiddle (when my fingers don't hurt), my accordion (bloody sod my fingers), Julian Barrett and Noel Fielding, and Ivor Cutler. Always Ivor Cutler.

Edit, no sooner do I mention it's charms, than my accordion's a button sticks. I fear I'll have to remove all those buttons just to see what's wrong...

Only had to remove half before I worked it out. And it's all fixed now. Oh, it's a lovely machine!

Sorry about the mood. Ivor Cutler cheers me up - more because he scares the kids which always makes me laugh.

One of my favourite books when I was a child was by him. I really want a copy from somewhere. It is called Meal One. It is about breakfast.

I just watched your glove pipe clip again; it's an old trick, but the piping is pretty good; In the 12th century they called this a bladder-pipe for reasons which I hope I dont have to explain;

try this

Stell nova'n

thanks for the waverley

That's brilliant! And a much more economic design. Do you think you could make one like that with a glove?

And ha, the rythmn is all over the place in that recording (what happens if I use my fiddle playing as first track), but it made me laugh.

Oooh - photos of accordion buttons make me prick up my ears no end :)
Glad you got it fixed...
Yours looks like a C - system, am I right? The black and white stripes go the opposite way to mine :)

Hi Rima, yes mine is a c-system. I have only once tried a bayan and I got a bit confused since I only had a few minutes with it but essentially it is the same but upside down, right? Either way round it is the cleverest, simplest chromatic system I've ever come across, (with the added bonus that everyone is impressed because it looks so fiendishly complicated. Shhh!)
