For the sake of history

Re. Earlier post on rubber glove bagpipes:

My dad pointed out that it isn't a new idea.

In other news I worn my feet out even more using irony (searching for shoes to quiz my podiatrist about). Half the keys on my keyboard are suddenly all busted and I'll post some actual drawings/book things soon.

Ooh, ooh look over at Crista's blog at the post about the Beatrix Potter puppet/costume designs. Amazing! They give me all kinds of sneaky ideas for my tv show that are probably quite above my station

I worn my Elbows down for you

This book is an unending task, my arthritic foot hurts and makes my hip hurt and makes me worry about all my other joints to a fool extent, my grandfather is back in hospital, the humidity is forceful and I'm in a mood.

I've been seeking cheer where the following things are: Spiers and Boden (when they DON'T sing), my fiddle (when my fingers don't hurt), my accordion (bloody sod my fingers), Julian Barrett and Noel Fielding, and Ivor Cutler. Always Ivor Cutler.

Edit, no sooner do I mention it's charms, than my accordion's a button sticks. I fear I'll have to remove all those buttons just to see what's wrong...

Stifling

Oh, this weather! It's enough to give a person dreams like the above, and make actual work very, umm, challenging. Also I think it makes my computer ill.

In the details

Nineteen spreads of detail such as this, most other pages of which are in comic strip form. That's why I'm disappeared. That and I got flu and arthritis and generally overwhelmed...

I'm currently around the twelfth spread and have had most of the work up until that point rather joyously approved by the publisher, so hooray for two week's work.

Possible gig at 229 Grt Portland St with Yo Zushi this evening.

Outstanding in his field

There are reasons I'm not posting anything at the moment, and they're mostly to do with how much work I'm trying to get done...

In the meantime:
