The waiting game is mostly back on with book projects, so I'm trying to use the opportunity to work some stuff out with watercolour, gouache, and old reference pictures and sketches. I'm mostly thinking about trying to find form that's not photographic, whether the reference is or not. But also just chasing pigment suspended in water.
